Why am I fundraising?

I'm walking 60 miles through out September to raise money for Womans Aid!

For those that don't know Manchester Womans Aid, Salford Foundation and my family have been my rock for nearly 1 year! I never thought l'd be a victim of domestic abuse, I never spotted it, everything in my eyes was normal but it was far from it! I was eventually safeguarded out of the family home 3 weeks after giving birth, effectively me and my children made homeless if it wasn't for my family. I'm finally coming out the other side after breakdowns, realisation, understanding, anger, sadness, joy, pain, the list goes on!

The charity's supported by Womans Aid are amazing there isn't enough words to say how vital they are for women like me! Every penny goes toward support workers, IDVA (Independent Domestic Violance Advocate), ISVA (Independant Sexual Violence Advocates), support work courses, safe spaces, support lines, 24/7 helpers, Housing support, legal support, money advice, debt agencies, again the list goes on.

It you wouldn't mind even giving £1 it will help every service they offer!!

It's safe to say without them I wouldn't be here today, I wouldn't be a stronger woman with out them!
