About

Why am I fundraising?

Did you know that 1 in 4 women over the age of 16-years-old will experience domestic abuse at some point in their life?

With at least 1 woman killed a fortnight by a current or ex-partner, it’s hiding in plain sight.

We all have the power to help make change. This is why I am taking on the Women’s Aid Step Forward for Survivors Challenge to raise vital funds for survivors and help break the stigma of domestic abuse.

I have made the commitment to move 60 miles throughout the month, which is an equivalent of 2 miles a day.

The life-saving specialist support services offered at Women’s Aid can be the difference between women and children staying or finding safety.

How can your donation make a difference?

£10 could fund a life-changing conversation between a professional Women’s Aid support worker and a survivor of domestic abuse.

Women’s Aid wants to be there for every woman and child who needs them. I want to help end domestic abuse for good. With your support and donations, we can make it happen.
